1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, or using the AI Digital Bookshelf application (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

 

2. License Grant Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Software on supported devices.

 

Free Version: May be used indefinitely with restricted features.

 

AI Enabled Version: Purchasing a license grants you access to premium features. A single Pro license may be activated on up to three (3) personal devices owned by you.

 

3. Intellectual Property The Software, including its original code, designs, and UI, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Software without explicit permission. (This does not apply to underlying open-source technologies utilized by the software, which remain governed by their respective open-source licenses).

 

4. Limitation of Liability and User Content The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or that it will meet your specific requirements. AI Digital Bookshelf operates entirely locally on your device. As such, you are solely responsible for the ebooks, metadata, API keys, and any other content you import, generate, or store using the Software. We have no visibility into, control over, or liability for what is on your devices or how you utilize the Software. In no event shall we be liable for any data loss, damages, legal claims regarding copyrighted material, or issues arising from the use or inability to use the Software.

 

5. Third-Party Services AI Digital Bookshelf relies on third-party services, including Paddle.com for payment processing. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

 

6. Termination We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license and access to the Pro features at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
